We meet at the Beacon on Sundays 130-4pm
This project is led by YouGrow CIC, in collaboration with The Beacon Centre and Our Exeter CIC, and is proudly funded by The National Lottery Community Fund. YouGrow CIC is a social enterprise that develops community gardens and creates social growing spaces that can be used by local communities. We are based in Exeter and develop gardening projects across Devon that bring together the whole community.
Our aim is to develop community and social gardens that can grow food in a sustainable way whilst respecting and enhancing local wildlife and to increase the access to locally produced food for all in the local neighbourhoods.
The Beacon Community Garden & Kitchen is a new initiative that will transform unused outdoor areas around The Beacon Community Centre into a vibrant, resident-led community garden.
Together, we are working to create a space that reflects the values of Beacon Heath: resilience, inclusivity, and care for the environment.
