The foodbank is here to support people who have little or no money for food.
There is no other form of eligibility or criteria.
In partnership with the Trussell Trust
We recognise that lots of people are struggling to provide food during these difficult times and the Beacon Centre is here to help. In partnership with the Trussell Trust the Beacon Centre is able to offer a weekly food bank service from 10:00 am – 12:00 noon on Wednesdays and Fridays.
Don’t be worried
We know that visiting a food bank can seem daunting, don’t be worried, our specially trained volunteers will offer you a warm welcome in a safe environment.
Referral Vouchers
How can I get help?
In order to get help from a food bank you will need to be referred with a voucher. The Beacon Centre do not provide these vouchers. Food bank vouchers are issued by a number of local community organisations (for instance schools, social services, GPs and advice agencies).
If you need support from the food bank but you don't have vouchers, pop in to see the helpful staff in our food bank who will be glad to help you.
