Bookings

Thinking of hiring a room? 

Requesting a Booking at the Beacon Centre is easy. Decide which  rooms you want, then check availability by clicking on the blue Centre Calendar button below, to see what is already booked. If you’re booking for a party, check out our special party hire page

We ask all hirers to leave the centre clean, tidy, safe and secure, taking your rubbish home so that the venue is ready for the next hirer. Please make sure you have allowed for this within your chosen hire times.

Ready to request a hire? 

Click on the Centre Calendar, find the box for your chosen date and room, click on the + sign in, fill in your details and Create Booking form. (If there is no + sign, the room is not available that day). 

Please be aware that new hirers may be asked to attend a 15 minute Security Briefing. This is to show you where everything is and how to open and secure the building and leave it safe. 

All booking requests will go to our admin team to check. We aim to get back to you within two working days. When confirmed, you will be sent an Invoice with details for payment and you can happily plan your event.

Disabled / Wheeled Access

We have one disabled parking bay and access through our main front door but also, if using our Hobnob Hall, through the blue metal gates to the left of the main entrance where there is a sloped side entrance.  We also have a wheeled access and baby change toilets.

Getting to and Parking at the Beacon

There is one 10 minute drop off space and one disabled parking bay to the right of the front entrance. Opposite the centre there is on-road parking. There are bike racks accessible from the ramp entrance and a bus stop 5 minutes walk from the Beacon with a regular frequent bus service.
