The Knight Club Reunion Sat 9 June

If you recognise the logo then you'll remember The Knight Club.

We're organising The Knight Club Reunion on Saturday 9 June, 7pm – 10pm here at the centre. There will be a disco (in a separate room) please bring your own drinks, your photos and your memories!

The Knight Club was a very popular youth club, started in 1967 which sadly closed in 2014 and the building is now a thriving community centre. We're hosting a reunion here and we'd love you to join us if you belonged to the club, worked there, helped out or were parents.

We know the club was an important part of Beacon Heath life and want to celebrate all that it achieved during that time.  Hundreds of young people have benefitted from belonging to this amazing club and reunion organiser Liz Straw said: “We’re hosting the reunion, the first, for a very simple reason – the reaction we get from former youth club members and staff walking into the centre, marvelling at its transformation and recalling their happy times here. Clearly this was a much-loved youth club and we’re very grateful to our city councillors for giving us a grant to host the reunion. It’s going to be a great night!”

Disco Steve will be playing tunes from the 60’s to 80’s, (don't worry in a separate room so you won't have to shout) we’ll be showing a video of the 25 years celebrations and opening the 1992 time capsule.

If you’ve got any photos or memorabilia you’d like to share to help us publicise the event and display on the night please contact reunion organiser, Liz Straw.
